Paulino Reynoso spent two seasons at AAA but never made the majors.

Reynoso signed with the Chicago White Sox originally late in 1998. He spent 1999 with the DSL White Sox. He came stateside in 2000 and hit .240/.340/.326 as a 1B-OF for the AZL White Sox. In 2001, he became a pitcher and was 0-2 with a save and a 3.66 ERA in 15 outings. For the 2002 Kannapolis Intimidators, the left-hander went 6-8 with two saves and a 4.24 ERA, allowing only one home run in 102 innings. He did have control issues, walking 65, three shy of Chris Seddon, the South Atlantic League leader. He allowed one run in two innings in the 2002 Intercontinental Cup and played for the Dominican Republic team that won a Bronze at the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games.

Paulino returned to Kannapolis in 2003 and posted a 5-7, 3.16 record with a .214 opponent average. He led the SAL with five balks. He went 3-2 with a save and a 3.95 ERA for the 2004 Winston-Salem Warthogs. By 2005, the 24-year-old had made it to AA. With the Birmingham Barons, he was 4-4 with eight saves and a 3.92 ERA while being used solely in relief. He walked 41 in 57 1/3 innings. He had a 3.24 ERA that winter for the Gigantes del Cibao.

In 2006, Reynoso pitched 47 games for the AAA Charlotte Knights. He had a 3-3, 4.37 record and .215 opponent average. He was one shy of Jeff Farnsworth for the team lead in appearances. He gave up three runs in 2 2/3 IP for Cibao in the Dominican League. Wrapping up his US career, Reynoso was 3-0 with a 4.09 ERA in 21 games for the 2007 Knights.
