Paul Wafula

Paul Wafula has played for the Ugandan national team.

Wafula attended the MLB African Academy in 2011. [1] He later played for the Hyogo Blue Sanders in the Kansai Independent League. [2] He was on the Ugandan squad that finished 2nd in the 2019 Africa Cup Baseball Championship. [3] He hit .600/.684/.867 in that event with 9 runs and 7 RBI in 5 games. He was among the tournament leaders in most departments: average (5th, between Shepherd Sibanda and MVP Kyle Botha), runs (tied for 3rd with Jonathan Phillips and Rowan Ebersohn), hits (9, tied for 3rd with Hamidou Sanon), total bases (13, tied for 6th with Bernard Okello and Phillips), slugging (6th, between Dayle Feldtman and Okello), RBI (tied for 5th with Ebersohn), OBP (tied for 6th with Benjamin Smith) and OPS (6th, between Feldtman and Smith).
