Biographical Information[edit]
Pao-Lo Huang has played in the CPBL.
Huang represented Taiwan in the 2022 U-18 Baseball World Cup, helping them win Silver. He had a 2.08 ERA but no decisions, dueling well with Italy's Alessandro Ercolani and South Korea's Jun-seo Hwang. [1] The Fubon Guardians selected him in the first round of the 2022 CPBL Draft, and he debuted on April 24 against the Wei Chuan Dragons.[2] However, he allowed 5 runs in 1 2/3 innings and Yu-Chi Tsao got the win over him. He was 3-5 with a 4.09 ERA in 18 games in the minor league in 2023. Huang pitched 5 shutout innings against the Dragons on April 11, 2024, and he got his first career win.[3]
Huang's repertoire includes a fastball (peak 93.8 mph) and forkball.
