Biographical Information

Yu-Chi Tsao played in the CPBL. His father is former CPBL pitcher Chun-Yang Tsao.

Tsao was selected by the Wei Chuan Dragons in the 2nd round of the 2021 CPBL Draft, and he was 3-3 with a 4.80 ERA in the minors in 2022. He debuted against Fubon Guardians on May 18, 2022, and he got his first career strikeout against Kuo-Chen Fan. He was 2-1 with a 4.38 ERA in 6 starts with the big club in 2023.

Tsao's repertoire includes a fastball (peak 92.5 mph), changeup, cutter, slider and curveball.
