The Paderborn Untouchables were formed in 1990 and are second in Bundesliga history with six titles, winning in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 before coming short in 2006 and 2007. They also won the European Cup Pool B in 2003. Stefan Fechtig, a member of those star teams as well as the German national team in the past, became coach in 2008. Among their players have been German national team members Marvin Appiah, Michael Franke, Eugen Heilmann, Octavio Medina, Björn Schonlau, Jendrick Speer and Julius Uelschen and South African national team member Willem Kemp.
