ONEOK Field in Tulsa, OK, is the home of the Tulsa Drillers, the Los Angeles Dodgers' Double-A Texas League farm team. University of Oklahoma-Oklahoma State University "Bedlam Series" games own its top four baseball gates.
The Tulsa energy company (pronounced ONE-OAK) bought naming rights before its 2010 debut. Populous designed it as it spun off from HOK Sport to become the leading baseball stadium architect in the U.S. The five years following the June 2008 announcement that it would be built saw more than $700 million worth of nearby development projects.
Tulsa leaders decided to build the ballpark after and because of the success of the playpen Oklahoma City opened in 1998 - now known as Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
A Jackie Robinson mural overlooks from beyond the outfield; the Dodgers' club placed it in 2021 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre.
After the Coronavirus pandemic-lost 2020 season and MLB's 2021 Minor League Reorganization, the minor leagues' 2021 opening day drew 103,483 across the country - and Tulsa's gate topped all at 5,004.
