O'Leary Ise

O'Leary Ise was the starting shortstop for the Palauan national team that won Bronze in the 2011 Pacific Games. He struck out his first at-bat, against Josh Jones, of the Northern Mariana Islands and later singled off him. He had a 3-RBI later against American Samoa. He finished the event at .250/.375/.300 with four runs and three RBI in seven games, fielding .829 (6 E). He stole five bases in seven tries. He tied for 3rd in the Games in walks (behind Lieb Bells and Christophe Jajha and tied Jacques Boucheron and Joeli McGoon for 2nd in steals (2 behind B.J. Balajadia). He tied Boucheron and Avery Amos for 5th in assists (15) but also tied Sailiilemalo Laolagi and Inoke Niubalavu for the most errors. [1]
