Outfielder B.J. Balajadia debuted for Guam when they won Gold at the 2003 South Pacific Games, hitting .320 with six runs and four RBI. [1] He scored five runs when they won Gold in the 2005 South Pacific Mini-Games, tying James Selefen, Kingston Anson and O'Ranli Ise for the lead. [2] He went 3 for 3 with 3 steals and 3 runs against Fiji in the 2011 Pacific Games and finished the event at .200/.333/.300 in the round-robin phase, but with 7 runs in 6 games and 7 steals in 7 tries. He tied Jesus Iguel for second in runs (two behind Juan Maratita) and led in steals (two ahead of O'Leary Ise, Joeli McGoon and Jacques Boucheron). [3] In the Gold Medal Game, he was hit by a pitch from Vince Cepeda, stole and scored in the first and finished 1-for-3 with a walk in a 8-4 loss to the Northern Mariana Islands. [4]
