Biographical Information

Infielder Nick Shaw began his professional career in 2010 after being taken by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 25th round of the 2010 amateur draft.

He began his career hitting .330/.458/.462 with 14 stolen bases and 38 walks between the AZL Brewers and Helena Brewers in 2010 to earn Arizona League Post-Season All-Star honors. Though he maintained decent-to-high on-base percentages in the succeeding seasons, his batting averaging did not again exceed .270 through 2015, nor did he steal double-digit bases. He spent all of 2013 through 2015 at Double A, and began 2016 there, as well.
