New York Eagles

From BR Bullpen

The Eagle Baseball Club of New York (also known as the New York Eagles) were a team that competed as a member of the National Association of Base Ball Players from 1854 to 1870. They were supposedly known for playing baseball as more of a fun hobby rather than being overly competitive about it according to SABR researcher Richard Hershberger.
