Biographical Information[edit]

Frank Fleet played every position on the diamond in his five years in the National Association. He played for five different teams in that time.

The book The Fix Is In states that Fleet was named as part of an all-star team of "rogues" by the Brooklyn Eagle (along with such notables as Dickey Pearce and Davy Force).

He died within a couple weeks of Tom Patterson, his 1871 teammate on the 1871 New York Mutuals. Both died in New York, NY.
