Biographical Information[edit]

Nathanael Batista made his Serie A1 debut for Novara in 2017. He hit .266 but tied Leonardo Zileri for 9th in the league with 23 RBI and tied Alessandro Deotto and Mario Chiarini for second with three triples. His five sac flies tied Osman Marval for the lead. On the other hand, he tied for third with 11 errors, fielding .866. [1]

Moving to Rimini, he batted .235/.350/.353 in the 2018 European Champions Cup and drove in Federico Celli with the winner in the semifinals. [2] In the 2018 Serie A1, he produced at a .378/.434/.533 clip and fielded .906. He was 9th in average (between Marval and Nick Nosti), 8th in slugging, tied Alex Sambucci and Giuseppe Mazzanti for 7th in RBI (22) and tied for second with two triples. [3]

He next played in Serie A1 in 2021, hitting .429/.504/.695 and fielding .902 for Macareta. He was 5th in hits (45). [4] Switching clubs again, he suited up for ASD San Marino in 2022. He hit .278/.350/.333 in the 2022 European Champions Cup [5] and .269/.366/.448 in the Italian season as San Marino won the title (he reached three times in the title game and scored one of their two runs) over Parma.
