Serie A1
<< 2019 2020 2021 >>

The 2021 Serie A championship was won by San Marino as they beat Unipolsai Bologna in the Italian Series. It was San Marino's 5th championship.

A totally different format was introduced this year. The number of teams was increased to 32 and they were placed into eight groups called the "Qualification Round". The eight group winners then advanced to the "Second Phase", which was split into two groups. The two group winners would then contest the Italian Series. The remaining 28 teams that failed to advance to the second phase took part in the "Consolation Round".
