Biographical Information[edit]
Mirtha Marrero pitched for the Chicago Colleens, Kalamazoo Lassies, Muskegon Lassies, Fort Wayne Daisies, Battle Creek Belles, and Muskegon Belles of the AAGPBL from 1948 to 1953. She wore uniform numbers 19, 18, and 13 throughout her career. She apparently quit playing baseball once she got married because her husband didn't approve of her playing.
She was inducted into the Cuban Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.
