Mike Daughtry
Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Daughtry has scouted for 30 years.
Daughtry was a pitcher in college, then served in the military. He coached high school baseball for 14 years. He scouted part-time for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1973-1984. In 1985, he was a Texas and Oklahoma scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He then spent 1986-1988 in the Major League Scouting Bureau. From 1988-2000, he was a Texas Rangers scout in the Midwest, signing Dave Geeve and Mike Zywica, among others. He then was an Arizona Diamondbacks scout. He signed Jarrod Parker, A.J. Pollock, Ryne White and Clay Zavada among others.
