Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Mike Brady played in the minor leagues and independent baseball from 1990 to 1993 and in 1995. He was taken by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 36th round of the 1990 amateur draft, the same round as pitcher Jason Bere and infielder Kevin Morgan.

He pitched for the Vero Beach Dodgers in 1990 and 1991, posting a 2.65 ERA in nine games the first year and a 3-0 record with a 2.22 mark in 37 games the latter. With the Bakersfield Dodgers in 1992, Brady had a 2.22 ERA with nine saves in 30 games. He was with the independent Rochester Aces and Duluth-Superior Dukes in 1993, posting a 7.50 ERA in 26 games. After not pitching in 1994, he returned briefly with the Yonkers Hoot Owls to go 0-2 with a 6.50 ERA in three starts.

His father is major leaguer Jim Brady.
