FNB Field in Harrisburg, PA, is the home of the Harrisburg Senators, the Washington Nationals' Double-A Eastern League farm team. It is one of only two Minor League ballparks that lie on an island - City Island in the Susquehanna River.

The other island-bound ballpark is in Daytona Beach, FL. Also known as City Island, in the Halifax River, it is the home of the Daytona Tortugas.

A home field on an island has rarely been a problem for the Sens, but 2011 flooding forced them to the road for their entire post-season.

The site also hosted baseball from 1907 through 1952, including Negro Leagues ball as early as 1922 and as late as 1943.

Opened in 1987, the second oldest baseball park in the Eastern League was HOK Sport's first to host professional ball; now Populous, HOK Sport soon pioneered "downtown retro" parks like Baltimore's Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Commerce Bank of Harrisburg bought naming rights in 2004, in 2009 re-naming itself Metro Bank and the ballpark accordingly. FNB acquired Metro in 2016, again rebranding both bank and ballpark.

The stadium, which seats 6,187, "stars" as the spring training facility in Major League II (1994). It received a $32 million renovation during the winters of 2008-2009 and 2009-2010, with about 150 seats removed.

More renovations are on the way, if the Senators are to stay in Organized Baseball. MLB's 2021 Minor League Reorganization greatly expanded existing standards for stadiums hosting affiliated teams. The price tag to get this ballpark into compliance is $12 million, and team and government officials are working on financing that.
