Biographical Information

Menghao Wang has pitched for the Sichuan Dragons of the China Baseball League. He was a reliever for the Chinese national team in the 2017 World Baseball Classic, and his only appearance was against Cuba. Lu succeeded Chaoqun Zheng in the 7th inning, and he gave up a RBI double to Frank Morejón. He then retired Yoelkis Céspedes, and he forced pinch-hitter Roel Santos to ground out. Wang continued his pitching in the 8th inning, and Víctor Victor Mesa doubled after he retired Frederich Cepeda and Yordan Manduley. Wang then made Guillermo Avilés hit a grounder to second to end his work.
