Biographical Information

Zheng Chaoqun has pitched for the Jiangsu Pegasus of the China Baseball League. He was a reliever for the Chinese national team in the 2015 Asian Championship, tying Lei Yu for the team lead with three games pitched. He allowed one run in two innings (2 H, 2 K) against last-place Indonesia after relieving Yu Liu but was sharper against Silver Medal-winning Taiwan (1 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 1 K) and tossed 1/3 scoreless inning (albeit with 1 H and 1 BB) against eventual champion South Korea.
