Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Mauro Contreras played American minor league baseball in 1951, 1952 and 1954 and in Mexico for an indeterminate spell. His statistical record is spotty, but he won as many as 14 games in a season, per records available. He managed the Piratas de Campeche in 1965 and the Chihuahua Dorados in 1973 and 1979. He also coached for Chihuahua and Rieleros de Aguascalientes.
