Biographical Information[edit]
Masakazu Satake was a catcher who represented Japan in the 1975 Intercontinental Cup, 1976 Amateur World Series, 1978 Amateur World Series (hitting .167/.200/.167 as the backup to Tadanori Murakami), 1980 Amateur World Series 1981 Intercontinental Cup and 1983 Asian Championship. He played for Nippon Life in the Industrial league after college. He was also the manager for Japan in the 1997 Asian Championship.
