Biographical Information[edit]
On September 5, 2010, pitching for the Kinston Indians of the Carolina League, Marty Popham took a perfect game into the 7th inning before walking a batter and exiting with seven no-hit hittings. Teammates Chris Jones and Cory Burns then kept the Potomac Nationals hitless over the following 3 innings as the three combined a 10-inning 1-0 no-hitter.
