Biographical Information

Pitcher Chris Jones was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 15th round of the 2007 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Mike Soper and made his pro debut that summer.

On October 31, 2011, Jones was traded to the Atlanta Braves by the Indians in return for veteran P Derek Lowe.

In his last season in the U.S. minors in 2016, Jones was called up by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on May 30th but was demoted two days later, without having appeared in a game.
