Mariana Natera has been on the Venezuelan women's national team.
In the 2022 Women's Baseball Americas World Cup Qualifier, she played the corner outfield, DH and pitcher. She hit .385/.500/.769 with two triples and five runs in five games on offense and throwing 7 shutout innings to beat Angela Burgos and the Dominican Republic. She tied Lisandra Berrios for second in triples, tied for 9th in runs and was 5th with 9 K. [1] Venezuela won a spot in the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup. In the 2023 portion, she mostly played short, going 3-for-16 with a walk, while fielding .947. She pitched once, allowing 7 runs (1 earned) in 8 innings to beat Cuba's Yanet Cruz. Her 14 assists were second in pool B behind Yu-Ying Hsieh's 16. She tied Akino Tanaka and Camille Foucher for 6th in IP. [2]
