Yanet Cruz was the most-used hurler for the Cuban women's national team in the 2015 Pan American Games, pitching over half their innings (14 1/3 out of 24 2/3). She was 0-3 with a 6.35 ERA, getting three of their four decisions. She got the first start for Cuba in a Pan American Games to feature women's baseball, losing to Canada in the opener. She allowed only 1 run in 4 1/3 IP the next day but took the loss in a 6-5 decision against Puerto Rico. She started and lost against Venezuela as well. Her ERA was well ahead of the team total of 11.31. She tied Esquia Rengel and Elizabeth Santana for 6th in the Games with four strikeouts. She led the Games in innings, 1 1/3 ahead of #2 Autumn Mills.
