Yu-Ying Hsieh debuted for Taiwan in the 2010 Women's Baseball World Cup. The 17-year-old beat Hong Kong in the opener but cost Taiwan a near-upset over Canada; entering with a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the 7th and last inning, she allowed a game-tying hit to Autumn Mills, a single to Becky Hartley and the game-losing squeeze bunt to Karine Gagné.
