Biographical Information[edit]

The son of Yo-Yo Davalillo, brother of David Davalillo, nephew of Victor Davalillo and father of Marco Davalillo Jr., Marco Antonio Davalillo has been a coach, manager and scout.

Davalillo never played in the US, but was with the Venezuelan Youth national team at one point. He has been the manager of the VSL Reds, Caribes de Anzoátegui and Tiburones de La Guaira and was the Venezuelan League Manager of the Year in 2007-2008. He has coached for the Tiburones, Caribes, Leones del Caracas and GCL Reds. He has also been a scout for the California Angels and Latin American Coordinator for the Cincinnati Reds. He was bullpen catcher for the 2003 Reds for the last couple months of the year. In 2011, he replaced Gerardo Sánchez as manager of the Acereros de Monclova in the Mexican League.
