Marco Davalillo Jr. is the son of Marco Antonio Davalillo, nephew of David Davalillo and the grandson of Yo-Yo Davalillo.

Davalillo signed with the Philadelphia Phillies in September 2008. He hit .336/.396/.500 and threw out 38% of opponent base-stealers. He tied for third in the Venezuelan Summer League in average, was 5th in slugging and second in doubles (18, one behind Roan Salas. He fell to .260/.321/.342 in a repeat engagement with the club in 2010, missing almost a month due to injury. He fielded only .943 at catcher and .976 at first base.
