Marc-André Habeck has pitched for the French national team.
Habeck was 8-4 as a junior college freshman and 6-2, 4.83 as a sophomore. Transferring to Georgia State University, he was 4-5 as a junior in 2015. He was 2-5 with a 4.59 ERA as a senior. He was on the French team in the 2015 Universiade.
He pitched in France in 2016, going 4-0 with 60 K in 47 1/3 IP and a 2.66 ERA for the Rouen Huskies. He was 7th in the French Division I in ERA and 7th in strikeouts. In the playoffs, he topped the Templiers de Sénart in the last game of the finals to give Rouen the title.
Habeck was on the French squad for the 2016 European Championship, turning in a fine effort in a start against Greece (7 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 1 R, 5 K) before Jonathan Mottay closed it out. He played for Team Europe in the 2016 Asian Winter League.
