Asia Winter Baseball League
(Redirected from Asian Winter League)
The Asia Winter Baseball League was founded in 2012 as an avenue for young players from Asian leagues to develop in the off-season.
The first edition took place in 2012, with Japan winning out. Other teams were Taiwan Red, Taiwan White and the Dominican Republic. In 2013, South Korea joined the league. The league did not operate in 2014. It reopened in 2015 with Team Europe replacing the Dominican Republic.
