Biographical Information

Pitcher Luis Vasquez was the player to be named later when the Cincinnati Reds traded Nick Esasky and Rob Murphy to the Boston Red Sox on December 13, 1988 for Todd Benzinger, Jeff Sellers, and a player to be named later. The Red Sox sent Vasquez on January 12, 1989 to the Reds to complete the trade.
