Biographical Information[edit]

Leandro Hara was on the Brazilian national team that won the 2016 South American Championship. His first game, he replaced Tiago Magalhães during a rout of Chile, going 2 for 2 with two RBI. His best game was against Bolivia, drawing three walks and scoring three runes. He also started on the mound, allowing one hit (to Walter Vargas), no walks and one run in four innings before Felipe Mizukosi completed the one-hitter. For the tourney, he was 3 for 8 with 3 walks for a .500 OBP, one steal, four runs and two RBI. He had two putouts, one assist and no error. His .071 opponent average was the lowest, .006 ahead of Miguel Puello. [1]
