Leadoff home runs leaders

From BR Bullpen

A Leadoff homer is a home run hit by a team's leadoff batter in his first plate appearance of the game. This can either be the first batter of the game for the visiting team, or the first batter in the bottom of the 1st inning for the home team.

The following tables show the leaders in hitting leadoff home runs. Rickey Henderson is the record-holder by a wide margin. The record for most such homers in a season is 15, by Kyle Schwarber of the 2024 Philadelphia Phillies. The previous record (and still the American League mark) was 13, accomplished by Alfonso Soriano of the 2003 New York Yankees.
