Biographical Information

Catcher Lars Davis was selected by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 49th round of the 2003 amateur draft but did not sign. After attending the University of Illinois, he was taken by the Colorado Rockies in the third round of the 2007 amateur draft. He made his pro debut that summer with the Tri-City Dust Devils. With the Tulsa Drillers in 2012, he hit .287 with 9 home runs and was a Texas League All-Star. He spent 2013 at the AAA level with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox and played at three levels in the Philadelphia Phillies chain in 2014 to wrap up his career.
