Lane Decker
Lane Decker was a part-time scout for the Chicago Cubs and a scout for the Baltimore Orioles until 1999. He has been a San Diego Padres scout since 2000. He signed Jason Bartlett, Logan Forsythe, Cody Gabella, Jeremy Hefner, George Kottaras, Rob Musgrave, Nick Schmidt, Burch Smith and Jerry Sullivan.
His son, Jacob Decker, was drafted in the 43rd round of the 2011 amateur draft but continued on to college.
