Biographical Information[edit]

Kuo-Long Lo has played in the CPBL and for the Taiwanese national team. Lo is the brother of Kuo-Hui Kao, Kuo-Lin Kao, Kuo-Hua Lo and a cousin of Chin-Hui Tsao.

Lo represented Taiwan in the 2005 World Youth Championship. He then replaced Yin-Lun Lan to participate in the 2011 World Port Tournament. Lo only had 6 at-bats in the event and collected a single. He made Taiwan's team for the 2012 World University Championship but the event was cancelled due to lack of sufficient teams. In the 2013 World Port Tournament, Lo appeared in the event again. He hit a RBI triple against Cuba, and Taiwan won 3rd place in the tournament. He won Bronze in the 2013 East Asian Games.

Lo was drafted by the Uni-President Lions in the 4th round of the 2013 CPBL Draft. He hit .306/.374/.401 with 2 dingers in 2014, was selected into the All-Star game and won his first Gold Glove award, joining Chih-Yao Chan and De-Long Yu as the outfielders honored.. Lo had a career year in 2015, he blasted a career-high 15 dingers, had a .328/.400/.513 batting line, and won the Gold Glove again. He tied the record held by Chih-Ping Lin for most hits in a single game with six. Lo then made Taiwan's roster for the 2017 World Baseball Classic, but he didn't play any games. The Hualien native suffered from left hand injuries, and only played 52 games in 2017 and 65 games in 2018. As young talented outfielders like Chih-Chieh Su and An-Ko Lin joined the team, Lo spent his time mainly in the minors, and the Lions released him on the end of 2022.

Overall, Lo hit .279/.346/.405 with 408 hits, 30 homers and 46 steals in 8 seasons in the CPBL.
