Kilian Redle has played in the Bundesliga-1 and for the German national team.
Redle was with Germany for the 2017 U-12 Baseball World Cup, hitting .333/.364/.524 and going 0-1 with a 14.40 ERA. [1] He debuted in the Bundesliga-1 in 2022, producing at a .242/.432/.424 clip for the Regensburg Legionäre. [2] He went 2 for 9 with 6 walks and 3 runs in the 2023 U-23 European Championship, tying for 4th in walks. [3] In '23, he moved to the Heidenheim Heideköpfe and batted .254/.342/.444, splitting catching with former Yankees farmhand Daniel Vavruša as Heidenheim won the title. [4]
Making his senior German national team debut in the 2023 European Championship, he backed up Yannic Walther and Vincent Ahrens at catcher and did not see any action at his usual position as a result. The teenager took over for Simon Bäumer at first base late in their 6-5 win over France. He did not bat and handled two putouts. [5]
