Biographical Information

Kernan Ronan played college ball for Alan Flitcraft, who like Ronan had ties to the California Angels organization (Flitcraft as a player).

pitched in the San Francisco Giants organization from 1981 to 1985, spending 1983 in AAA.

Ronan was hired by the Angels as pitching coach for the Palm Springs Angels in 1989-1990, Midland Angels in 1991-1994 and 1996, Butte Copper Kings in 1997, Lake Elsinore Storm in 1998-2000 and Rancho Cucamonga Quakes in 2001. He was the pitching coach for the Provo Angels in 2002 (as recounted in the book Odd Man Out by Matt McCarthy) and 2003 [1]. He was the pitching coach for the Arkansas Travelers in 2004 and Cedar Rapids Kernels in 2005-2006. Ronan was the minor league pitching coordinator for the Los Angeles Angels since 2007 (as of 2011). In 2013 Ronan was the Angels' Rehabilitation Coach.
