Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Justin Wrobleski started his collegiate career at Clemson University, but transferred to a junior college after his freshman season. After one year at Manatee-Sarasota Community College, he moved to Oklahoma State University, from where he was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 11th round of the 2021 amateur draft.
On July 2, 2022, he was the starting pitcher in a combined perfect game by the ACL Dodgers against the ACL White Sox. It was the first perfect game in the history of the Arizona Complex League, and there had never been one in the circuit's predecessor, the Arizona League. He went 1-3, 3.91 in 13 games in what was his first professional season. In 2023, he played for the Great Lakes Loons of the Midwest League, going 4-4, 2.90 in 25 games (23 starts). He pitched 102 1/3 innings and struck out 109, being named the league's Pitcher of the Month for June, a league post-season All-Star, and a Dodgers organizational All-Star.
In 2024, he was assigned to the Tulsa Drillers of the AA Texas League to start the year. He went 502m 3.06 in 13 starts and was promoted to the Oklahoma City Baseball Club of the Pacific Coast League. After just 2 starts, he received his next promotion, making his major league debut as the starting pitcher for the Dodgers against the Milwaukee Brewers on July 7th. In 5 inning, he gave up 4 runs on 5 hits, including homers by Christian Yelich and Eric Haase, and was charged with the 9-2 loss.
