Biographical Information[edit]

Justin Olic has played in the Bundesliga and for the Croatian national team.

He was 0-2 with a 8.38 ERA for Olimpija Karlovac in the 2018 CEB Cup. He saved Pavao Karin's win over Minsk then lost to the Templiers de Senart and the Therwil Flyers. He tied Robert Palencia for 9th in K in the event, tied for second in appearances and tied teammate Jose Diaz for the most losses. [1] He had a 7.36 ERA for Croatia in the 2019 U23 European Championship. [2]

The southpaw was 2-5 with a 6.23 ERA for the 2022 Hamburg Stealers in Germany, hitting .333/.391/.433. He tied Enorbel Marquez and Ben Runyon for 3rd in the Bundesliga-1 North in losses. [3] Moving to the Haar Disciples for 2023, he did not pitch and was 3 for 19 with a double and 3 walks. [4]

Playing for Croatia in the 2023 European Championship, he was the DH and hit 8th in their opener against Ukraine. He had a RBI single off Andrii Boiko his first time up as part of a 3-for-3 day. He was 7 for 14 with 4 walks, 3 runs and 4 RBI, finishing second to Juremi Profar in OBP (.011 off). Only Slobodan Gales had more hits for Croatia. He pitched once, losing to the defending champion Dutch national team and JC Sulbaran as he allowed 12 runs (all earned) and 12 hits in 2 2/3 IP. He tied Linus Ritzen and Alexander Ogg for 4th in the Euros in earned runs allowed. [5]
