Biographical Information

Julio Franco is a scout for the Oakland Athletics who signed, among others Javier Herrera, Ronald Herrera, Luis Jimenez, Douglas Landaeta, Carlos Navas, Gregorio Petit, Henry Rodriguez and Jose Torres.

A relief pitcher, he had previously pitched in the California Angels system from 1984 to 1986, peaking at Single A. In 53 games, he was 3-4 with a 4.35 ERA.
