Biographical Information[edit]

Ju-a Park debuted for South Korea in the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup. The teenager was their main shortstop. She started slowly against champion Japan, retired twice by Ayami Sato then striking out against Asaka Tsuru. She had at least one run and one RBI in their other five games, though, with her first hit coming off Ni Putu Radha Ananditha Putri. She finished at .389/.364/.444 with 9 runs and 10 RBI in six games, stealing five bases in five tries and fielding .917. She was 4th in runs (between Seo-jin Yang and Hsiao-Mei Chen), tied Chen for second in RBI (two behind Miwa Naraoka), tied for 7th in swipes and led with 17 assists (five ahead of All-Star SS Kae Iwami). [1] She helped South Korea win Bronze and qualify for the 2023 Women's Baseball World Cup. She remained with them for the latter event.
