Biographical Information[edit]
José Padilla has been on the Honduran national team alongside Lombardo Padilla.
He was 0 for 3 in the 2017 Central American Games and pitched one inning against Panama (between Jayson Avila and Edgardo Matute), allowing 3 hits, a walk and 3 runs (2 earned). [1] Backing up Walter Aguilar at catcher in the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games Central American Qualifier, he was 0 for 3, handled six putouts error-free and allowed four steals in four tries. [2] During the 2023 Pan American Games Qualifier, he got into one game, starting behind the dish against champion Panama. He was retired by Luis Machuca, handled five chances error-free and threw out one of three who tried to steal, then was replaced by Aguilar. [3]
