José Miguel Corpas
Biographical Information[edit]
José Corpas Jr. followed his father José Corpas Sr. onto the Colombian national team. He was an infielder for Colombia when they won the 1965 Amateur World Series with them, Colombia's last world title in baseball (as of 2023). He also played in the 1969 Amateur World Series, 1970 Amateur World Series and 1971 Pan American Games. He was the All-Star center fielder in the 1973 FEMBA Amateur World Series; Ming-Yung Hsieh and Jorge Cordero joined him on the All-Star outfield. He also appeared in the 1975 Pan American Games. His obituary mentions six Bolivarian Games appearances, six Amateur World Series (not clear which other two) and four Central American and Caribbean Games.
