Biographical Information[edit]

Jordan Tarsovich was a 22nd round selection by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2015 amateur draft, out of Virginia Military Institute; the scout was Clair Rierson. He began his pro career that year with the AZL Dodgers, and also played for the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League and the Great Lakes Loons of the Midwest League. In a combined 13 games as an infielder, he hit .269/.367/.373 with 3 homers and 18 RBIs. The Dodgers promoted him aggressively the following season, 2016, as he started the year in Advanced Class A, in the California League with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, then moved up to the AA Texas League where he lined up with the Tulsa Drillers for 59 games. His offensive production fell compared to his initial year, but he did manage to hit .221/.325/.371 in 90 games, once again seeing time at three infield positions - 2B, 3B and SS.

On January 25, 2017, he was traded straight up to the Oakland Athletics for major league OF Brett Eibner.
