Biographical Information

The brother of minor leaguer John Morlan and uncle of big leaguer John Morlan, catcher Joe Morlan played five seasons in the minors in the Cleveland Indians. He later managed the Selma Cloverleafs of the Alabama-Florida League briefly and then was a scout for the Indians (1962-1974), St. Louis Cardinals (supervisor 1989-?), and New York Mets. He signed Neal Musser.
