Biographical Information[edit]
Ji-sook Lee pitched for South Korea in the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup. She debuted against the champion Japan and did well. Relieving Min-jeong Kwak in the second with a 5-0 deficit, two outs and two on, she got Yukina Izumi to ground out. In the third, she allowed a Haruna Tadano single but Nanako Hanabusa hit into a double play. Sayuri Ono relieved her. Lee's other outing was against Philippines. Replacing Min-sung Park, she went the final three innings, allowing one hit, three walks and two runs (both earned) to save the win. She fanned two - Mery Ann Ramos and Madaelene Domaug. Lee had her team's third-best ERA, after Bo-mi Kim and Yu-jin Lee. [1]
