Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Jesus Galindo played in the San Francisco Giants system from 2009 to 2015. He was a Post-Season All-Star in 2011 and a Mid-Season All-Star in 2013.
A speedster, Galindo stole 200 bases in 338 games between 2009 and 2013, including 40 or more four seasons in a row — 2010 to 2013. During that skein, he swiped 43,47,40 and 48 bags, respectively, while not playing more than 89 games in a season.
In 546 minor league games, Galindo stole 250 bases; he added four more in 34 Venezuelan Winter League games. In 1,869 at-bats, he hit just seven home runs.
Galindo was the baserunning/outfield coach for the DSL Mariners in 2023 and coach for the DSL Mariners in 2024.
