Infielder Jesús Mogollón has played in Venezuelan independent leagues. He was on the Venezuelan national team that won Silver at the 2009 Bolivarian Games and Gold at the 2010 South American Games. He was 2 fr 8 with two RBI in the 2013 Bolivarian Games, backing up Rafael Rivas at 3B. In the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games, he was 1 for 4 with a double and a RBI, backing up Rodolfo Cardona at SS and Rivas at 2B. He hit .389/.421/.444 with 5 runs in 5 games in the 2017 Bolivarian Games, including 3-for-3 with a steal and two runs in the Bronze Medal game win over El Salvador. He tied Gerald Chin and Jorge Bishop for second in the Games in runs, 3 behind Edgar Muñoz. His 7 hits tied Jonathan Sivira for 4th.
