Biographical Information[edit]

Jeff Musselman was signed as a 6th round pick in the 1985 amateur draft by the Toronto Blue Jays and scout Paul Ricciarini.

Musselman, out of Harvard University, had his best year in 1987 when he went 12-5 as a reliever in 68 appearances. The Blue Jays were a strong team that year, winning 96 games, and the pitching staff included Jimmy Key, Dave Stieb, Jim Clancy, Mark Eichhorn, Mike Flanagan, a 24-year-old David Wells, a 48-year-old Phil Niekro, Tom Henke, as well as John Cerutti out of Amherst College.

He was the last player to make it to the major leagues out of Harvard University until Frank Herrmann debuted in 2010.

He has been working as an agent for the Scott Boras Corporation since 1992.
